Startstipendium 2025: Project grants for groundbreaking medical research and education

The call for the AUF Startstipendium is open again. Talented scientists from Amsterdam UMC can apply for a grant of 25,000 euros for their innovative medical research or education projects, to take their careers to the next level. The AUF Startstipendium is made possible by the Spinoza Fund of the Amsterdam University Fund (AUF).

Who can apply for the AUF Startstipendium?

Are you at the beginning of your career as a talented postdoctoral researcher at Amsterdam UMC or as a lecturer at one of the programmes of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Amsterdam? Then you may be eligible to apply. More information about the criteria and how to apply can be found on the Startstipendium web page. The deadline to apply is 13 June 2025 at 23:59 (CET).

About the Spinoza Fund

The Spinoza Fund is a Named Fund of the Amsterdam University Fund. The fund aims to promote medical care and science, amongst others by providing individual support grants and project grants.
